Our leadership

A veteran of Saudi Aramco for his entire career, which spans three decades, Al-Falih has served in key leadership positions across the organization and has driven continued expansion of the company’s business portfolio into new areas of operations.

Mohammad A. Al-Ali was appointed senior vice president, Finance on November 1, 2011. He joined Saudi Aramco in 1971 as an apprentice and has since held a number of positions of increasing responsibility within the Finance organization.

Salim S. Al-Aydh is senior vice president on special assignment to lead a critical project. Prior to this, he was senior vice president, Engineering & Operations Services. He originally joined the company in September 1970, earning his B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Tulsa in 1979.

Al-Buainain joined the company in 1980 after graduating from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) in Dhahran with a B.S. degree in applied mechanical engineering.

Abdulaziz F. Al-Khayyal is senior vice president, Industrial Relations. As head of the Industrial Relations business line, he is responsible for many of the company’s most vital support operations.

David B. Kultgen was appointed general counsel and corporate secretary effective Jan. 1, 2010. Kultgen graduated with a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Missouri at Columbia in 1970, and obtained his juris doctor degree in 1973 from the School of Law of the University of Texas at Austin.

Amin H. Nasser is senior vice president, Upstream Operations. Nasser joined the company after graduating with a bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Dhahran in 1982.

Abdulrahman F. Al-Wuhaib was appointed senior vice president for Operations Services on April 28, 2007. He previously held Executive Management positions as vice president, Information Technology; vice president, Engineering Services; vice president, Ras Tanura Refinery; and vice president, Project Management.
