The received feed gas is compressed in compression trains and passed to the NGL stripper columns and de-ethanizer column to optimize NGL production.
The effluent of the columns consists of two main streams: the overhead light gases and NGL. The light gases are sent to gas plants outside Abqaiq for further processing, while the NGL is sent to Ras Tanura for further fractionation.
