Delivering the best
We’re developing an impressive array of operational projects, from oil and gas processing facilities to petrochemical plants — each one engineered to meet international standards and built to surpass expectations.
Some of our current projects include:
A proposed 400,000-barrels per day (bpd) refinery and associated terminal is slated for completion in late 2016 on the Red Sea near Jazan.
Designed to become the largest petrochemical facility ever built in one single phase, Sadara, located in Jubail Industrial City II, is a joint venture with The Dow Chemical Co.
The Saudi Aramco Total Refining and Petrochemical Company, a joint venture with France’s Total Oil Co., will construct a 400,000-bpd full-conversion refinery with integrated petrochemical processing in Jubail.
When complete, the Shaybah NGL facility will process 2.4 billion scfd of low-sulfur sweet gas and extract 240,000 bpd of NGL.
Set to become the largest gas plant in the Kingdom when it is completed in 2014 with a production capacity of 2.5 billion scfd per day.
The Yanbu Aramco Sinopec Refining Company Limited, formed as a joint venture with China's Sinopec, will construct a full-conversion refinery in Yanbu' Industrial City on the West Coast of Saudi Arabia.
Looking ahead
We have even more projects planned for the near future, including Phase II of our Petro Rabigh venture with Sumitomo Chemical of Japan; the Clean Fuels Project at the Saudi Aramco Mobil Refinery Company Limited (SAMREF), our joint venture with ExxonMobil in Yanbu'; and a proposed refinery to be built in Yunnan Province, China, with PetroChina.
Each project requires a substantial investment. We gladly make that investment when market conditions are favorable and — perhaps more importantly — when they aren’t.
