Health and well-being
Our business ambitions rely on a healthy work culture, workforce and community. The partnership with Johns Hopkins Medicine is a commitment to improving the health and well-being of our people and represents a significant milestone in the transformation of medicine and health care in the Kingdom.
It is a first-of-its-kind health care company formed with our joint venture partner, Johns Hopkins Medicine and is expected to transform the practice of medicine and health care in the Kingdom. JHAH brings together our long-established health care delivery system and the world-renowned clinical, education, and research expertise of Johns Hopkins Medicine.
A model of health care in the Kingdom
JHAH fuels clinical innovation and contributes to the development of the country’s health care in alignment with our commitment to enabling growth, opportunities, and diversification within the Kingdom’s economy.
In addition to supporting our employees and their families JHAH contributes to the health and well-being of the people of Saudi Arabia through collaboration, research, and education, and helps to develop the Kingdom’s health care industry by applying knowledge, practices, and strategies for population health management in ways that are tailored to the needs of both our company and broader community.
JHAH conducts outreach events in company and local communities, helping to raise awareness of critical health issues for thousands of people. In 2016, JHAH marked a major milestone on its journey to advance the capabilities of health care professionals in the Kingdom with the establishment of a medical residency program for licensed Saudi physicians interested in advanced training in their areas of specialty.
Over the coming years, JHAH will continue to evolve into a health care system of excellence that provides enhanced specialty and subspecialty services, new lines of treatment, research, and education to address some of the most significant health care challenges in the region.
The partnership with Johns Hopkins Medicine also brings with it the added benefit of being able to draw upon the expertise of its entities, including The Johns Hopkins University and The Johns Hopkins Hospital and Health System. This access will aid in providing clinical program development, research, training, safety, and health care administration expertise. The partnership provides medical personnel unparalleled opportunities to learn and grow, to serve patients and families, to share the latest research innovations, and to apply those innovations quickly to patient care.
