We have answered some of the most common questions our contractors have.

How do I register as a contractor?

If you are a Saudi-based company, register online on our Electronic Contracting Network (ECN).

On the ECN there are two options to register. Which should I use and what’s the difference between them?

Select registration for existing Saudi Aramco contractor if you have a vendor ID but haven’t yet registered in ECN – this may be the case if you registered with us before 2006. The system will ask you to upload any missing information or documents.

If you don’t have a vendor ID, select new contractor registration and it will guide you through the new registration process.

What documents to I need to register?

When you sign into the ECN it will ask you to upload all required documents and complete all needed information.

Do I have to submit the original government documents?

Yes. After electronically submitting your registration request on the ECN, you should bring your original documents to:

The Contractor Registration Office
Room 162
North Park 2 (Bldg. 3301)
Dhahran

The ECN will generate a unique Reference Key for your registration request – use this to refer to your request.

What is the Registration Request Reference Key?

The Registration Request Reference Key is a unique number generated by the ECN system to reference your uploaded package of information and documents. Keep this number and use it to follow-up on the status of your registration.

Do I have to submit a Zakah Certificate, a Saudization Certificate or a GOSI Certificate if I’ve been a contractor for less than one year?

If you wish to be exempted, you must provide us with your official documents from the respective government entities.

How will I know if I’ve been successfully registered as a contractor?

Once your registration request gets approved, the ECN will send you a notification e-mail containing your new vendor ID.

The system will also send an SMS message to your registered mobile number with your user ID and password to access the Saudi Aramco portal as a registered vendor.

If your submitted registration package is missing a document or a piece of information, we will send you an e-mail as a notification of the incomplete request. In that case, upload or enter the missing data and resubmit your request.

If I’ve successfully registered, does this mean I can bid for Saudi Aramco contracts right away?

No. You still need to go through contractor pre-qualification for specific contracts or a group of similar contracts.

Our Sourcing Group conducts long-form and mid-form pre-qualification. Contact them at contractor-pre-qual@aramco.com or by phone at (03) 874-2721.

Our Proponent Department conducts short-form pre-qualification.

If I’ve already registered in the ECN as a contractor, how do I update my information?

If you have received your username and password, you can update your company’s information online here.
