We work with international contractors in many different capacities – but our major onshore and offshore projects are a cornerstone of our international procurement.
Before beginning any major projects, we draft a front-end engineering contract, based on reimbursable cost compensation. This consists of:
We then implement the project facility on a bifurcated LSTK contract basis.
If you win a contract with us, detailed design, material and equipment procurement activities will follow – usually at your principal design office. This will involve a contract with one of our international affiliated companies, Aramco Services Company or Aramco Overseas Company B.V.
We perform actual at-site construction, installation, commissioning and start-up assistance under a separate but seamlessly integrated contract between us and a company qualified to carry out contracts within Saudi Arabia who is in an affiliated relationship with you, the international design contractor.
