University Placement

Students who successfully graduate from the College Preparatory Program are placed in universities in the USA, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Australia, and occasionally in countries in the Middle East. Saudi Aramco's Academic Planning & Programs Division (APPD) is responsible for the placement of students at universities.

APPD ensures that students are placed in competitive universities -- taking into account a student's major and academic profile. A student's major, performance at CPP, CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) and external examination results all have bearing on the universities to which applications are sent. Placements are completed by the end of May in order to allow sufficient time for visa processing, pre-departure orientations, and final application processing.
