Saudi Aramco’s sales and marketing activities are handled by two departments: Crude Oil and Products Sales and Marketing Departments. Crude Oil and Products Sales and Marketing Departments are responsible for the worldwide export sales and marketing of crude oil and refined products, as well as the import of refined products to meet shortfall in the domestic market. In addition to its sales and marketing headquarters in Dhahran, the company has various subsidiaries with offices around the world that provide international marketing services.
To service customers in northwestern Europe, the company maintains an equity interest in the TEAM B.V. crude oil storage facility in Rotterdam through its subsidiary, Aramco Overseas Company. In addition, Saudi Aramco, through its subsidiary Bolanter Corporation, leases crude oil storage capacity in the Caribbean to service crude markets in the United States.
Please Note: With respect to Crude Oil sales, Saudi Aramco will only respond to requests from refiners who have their own refinery and would process our crude in that system. Therefore, we exclude traders and speculators; and with respect to Refined Petroleum Products sales, Saudi Aramco will only respond to requests from end users or principal oil trading companies that own or lease shipping, tankers or other facilities which will provide added value to Saudi Aramco, or allow entry into markets where Saudi Aramco does not have direct access.
