Corporate Policy PER-3
Saudi Aramco developed a new corporate policy which gives preference to those contractors, venders and suppliers who hire Saudis and who have programs and policies  in place to support their development and retention.

General Instruction #1809.004
This General Instruction (GI) supports Corporate Policy PER-3, “which gives preference to those Saudi Aramco Contractors, Vendors and Suppliers.”

Contained in the GI are guidelines and methods by which Saudi Aramco organizations, that are proponents or end users of contracts, can use to establish partnerships with their contractor companies in support of Saudi Aramco’s Contractors Saudization mandates, initiatives, and strategies.

Saudi Government Directives
Saudi Aramco’s Corporate Contractors Saudization initiative is in line with government directives pertaining to Saudization. Examples of these directives include:

Labor Law
The Ministry of Labor has announced the new labor law which is now in effect.

In 1994, the Counsel of Ministers has announced a law that governs Saudization of the private sector.
