1. Conventional NDT Services
The NDT service provider shall be able to provide, as a minimum, NDT services, technicians, and equipment for all conventional NDT methods, i.e. Radiography Testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Penetrant Testing (PT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT). All personnel qualifications and certifications, services, reporting and procedures shall be based on applicable government’s radiation safety regulations and Saudi Aramco & international standards, e.g. ISO, ASME, ASNT, etc.
2. Civil Testing Laboratories
The Civil Testing Laboratory shall, as a minimum, provide laboratory and field testing for concrete and other cementations materials, soils, aggregates, asphalt, water, chemicals and other construction related materials. All testing, sampling, reporting and other procedures shall be based on applicable Saudi Aramco & industry standards (e.g. ASTM, applicable British Standards, AASHTO).
3. Welding Testing Agencies (WTA)
Provide technical services which include welding certification programs and weld testing services. The WTA qualifies both welders and welding operators for Saudi Aramco through a comprehensive welder qualification program which is approved by Saudi Aramco.
